Sorry, but this event has been cancelled.
Join us for a family friendly fall drive along the gorgeous Lake Ontario shoreline as we explore some lesser-known roads on our way to three of Genesee Land Trust's most beautiful preserves. We will start with coffee and donuts and a short walk at the Gosnell Big Woods Preserve before we head out to the Sodus Bay area, home to Alasa Farms and the Cracker Box Palace Farm Animal Rescue and Rehabilitation Center. We will take a short hike and spend some time with some of the rescued farm animals.
After a stop for lunch, apples, ice cream and pumpkins at Burnap's Farm Market and Cafe, we will visit one of GLT's newest preserves in Pultneyville, where we can walk through old orchards, and perhaps see the Bald Eagles. We hope to finish by 2 PM, but feel free to leave early or stay late for an optional tour of Young Sommer Winery.
We request a minimum donation of $25 per car, with all proceeds going directly to Genesee Land Trust. Please bring cash or check, and comfortable walking shoes.
